Creating
WE For Leaders… Level I, Level II and Level III
Creating
WE Level I facilitates team cohesion. Executive
teams function more effectively when they have a shared
vision, shared metrics for success and when they create
a trajectory together. This is called a Journey Process.
In going through a Journey Process together, executives
learn about their culture, their internal capacity to
enter into reinvention, and to learn the skills they
will need to turn resistance into creativity, fear into
desire and problems into opportunities.
As
companies transform themselves for the future - they
become aware of gaps widening between current and desired
reality. The gaps create the need to:
- Shift
mindsets to think in new ways…outside the box, systematically,
understand energy, resistance and how to open horizons
to encompass enterprise issues
- Introduce
and master new technology
- Learn new capabilities (competencies)… skill sets
that never existed before
- Shift
relationships (address power issues, hierarchy, values)
This workshop helps executive teams understand how
to be leaders during a change process. It sets into
place a new energy for discovering how to step into
a new way of working with their organization to take
on the enterprise issues that lay ahead. These are very
important and new ways of working for almost any leader.
This process provides a new framework for reinvention.
Too often we separate out planning from implementing.
This separation makes implementing much harder to do.
The journey process creates a new framework for Creating
the Future.
This
session can be used to “ready” a team for any type of
reinvention project, and helps set a new tone, new aspirations,
opens a new way of thinking, removes some of the limitations
of current reality, and facilitates an executive process
that transcends agendas, power issues and influencing
patterns. This process breaks from the past (pattern
interruptus) and opens new energy for reinventing
the future.
Creating
WE Level II facilitates enterprise integration.
During times of change, it’s easy for executives to
get drawn into their own silos, working issues that
they can control. However, managing the larger enterprise
issues is a collaborative experience. This workshop
helps executives understand how to provide leadership
during change, how to encourage enterprise collaboration,
and how to create a positive and dramatic ripple effect
throughout the organizations. This is a higher-level
workshop that gives senior executives a wonderful framework
before getting caught in the details of the technical
aspects of supply and demand chain, or whatever initiative
they are responsible for. It clearly separates out the
details from the dynamic shifts and interlinking activities
necessary for creating win/win partnering for success.
Creating
WE Level III facilitates enterprise thinking. Developing
an Enterprise point of view is critical to effectively
harness the incredible level of activity that is going
on in the company. Often there are conflicts and redundancies,
resource priority challenges that are not visible until
they are debilitating the teams and call for major restructuring.
This workshop is designed to help link and solidify
the activities toward common goals. The meeting would
be filled with examples, cases, learnings, wisdom, and
insightful questions that people need to be asking to
focus on the projects at hand: i.e. Customer-centricity,
to garner the best outcomes for the resource commitments.
The session really helps clients get their arms around
difficult issues, and helps them galvanize and focus
attention where it pays off.
